my FANTASTIC experience

Hi ladies,
I've had my BA today at rransform abbey pines hospital in manc with Linda Fiuma. I could not be happier with how everything went. So here's my story....

For the last few days I've been really really nervous, not sleeping and crying at any given moment. I'd convinced myself that I would be one of the unfortunate ones that something went wrong to.
Got here for 1130...was admitted at 12. First impressions were good, got greeted and taken to the room by someone who was quite stern and really short with me which left me even more apprehensive...but I shouldn't of worried at all.

The room was lovely, nicer than some hotels I've stayed in, en suite, wardrobe, 2chairs, side table , mirror, tele and bed. I quickly got dressed into gown, sexual paper pants haha and waited for what seemed hours. A nurse arrive Larvena (I think that's how u spell it) to check weight, blood pressure . Temp etc. I told her how nervous I was and she totally made me feel at ease, joked and gave me a hug. Next was the man who puts u to sleep (the bit I was most anxious about) he was LOVELY made me feel relaxed, explained the procedure and I was really pleased he automatically gived anti sickness and meds through the canula so no more nasty needles. Next linda came in the mark me up and she was once again just absolutly wonderful told me that she would be nervous if I wasn't nervous lol. We had originally planned 380cc but after seeing linda she asked me to trust her between 340-410 and make the decision when she was doing it..I totally trusted her. She then got some of the implants and told me to try them in the mirror and her manner was so gentle it made my nerves get replaced with excitement. At 2.15 I went up to theatre and this is where the tears started I'm such a wimp. When I got in there the two ladies were lovely. Very chatty and reasurring can't really remember going to sleep except for someone stroking my hair. :) next thing I know I'm in recovery room with the hiccups lol. I was wheeled down to my room and transferred onto the bed with a drip for fluids attached. My bra and pjs were then put on and an ice pack. I was allowed to contact home straight away.

The nurses are so so so friendly and can't do enough for you, seriously !! I've had no pain as linda put some numbing stuff inside to ease the pain. I've had my antibiotics and some pain killers because (sorry for too much info) but even tho I'd had loads of fluid I couldn't wee so the pain killers help relax ..did the trick. I had a lovely 3course dinner and brought loads of goodies to munch on. I've had the drip removed and just watching tele.

Getting woken at 7am eeek! You are offered a sleeping tablet but I refused just to see how I get on. The only downside of GA is my lips/eyes/hands are really swollen :( but hopefully will subside. I cannot believe i was so nervous I couldn't ask for anything better!!! Not seen them yet, until the morning so will keep u updated. Any questions from what I've missed let me know.
