I Just thought i`d post my experience on here as there`s probably hundreds of women out there who are looking at having a tummy tuck and breast uplift(with liposuction and muscle repair) and want to find a good surgeon .I went for my first consultation in oct 2011 with mrs cat ,following the consultation i immediately booked surgery for the 30th december ,after surgery i spent 3 days in hospital . on the first day i was on morphine and then was on a drip with painkillers ,i have to say i expected a lot worse i was imagining being in horrendous pain ,i have to say though it was just uncomfortable although when i was walking i had a very bad burning sensation up my thighs but apparently this is totally normal ,i also couldn`t walk straight for at least a week i was discharged and with painkillers ( cocodamol , diclofenac adn tramadol ) the painkillers were again very effective and i continued to take these for two weeks ,after two weeks i came off tablets as i was going back to work on day 15 and the tablets make you very drowsy ,however if anyone out there is prescribed tramadol be careful when coming off them as i experienced awful side effects and no matter how much pain i was in i would never ever take them again .However this has been the only down side to the surgery i am now 5 weeks down the line and the results are truly amazing my belly has never been so flat nor has my boobs been so high:-),the scars are healing very well in fact some parts of the scar are not even red or raised , i still have some pain in and numbness in my belly and thighs but to anyone thinkin of havin this procedure done i don`t believe you`ll be disappointed :-)

I'm torn, I def want a TT and my husband is behind all the way, only not sure wether to tell friends and family as there seem to be mixed feeling either "Why do you want to have that done ? Yuck" or "Your fine the way you are" yeh right they done have to see what I see every morning/noon & night.

21st September 2011 Today I decided to book my consultation with Mrs Kat. Why? I live in London, surely the travelling is not worth it. Mrs Kat is on the: GMC register 3627590 (She is Licence to practise and is on the specialist register plastic surgery since 1999) BAAP - Safety audit done 2011 BAPRAS - she works privately and also as a consultant for the NHS. I also am very comfortable that she is a woman. So I called the hospital to find out when her next consultation is. TOMORROW at 11am £120 charge....... Ok better speak to my other half if I can get a lift to Birmingham.
UPDATE 21st September 2011 Ok, so my other half has said he will drive me tomorrow to Birmingham to the Spire Parkway Hospital, Solihull. I can't believe they have a consultation so quickly. :o They took my debit card details to secure the booking, but have not charge me anything yet.
22nd September 2011 Thursday So my consultation was fine, Mrs Kat is very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.... she was professional and very relax. I do feel I can fully trust her. So surgery dates? Next one is October 12th.... :( I can't do that as I have family travelling from Aus over. So I am booking 25th November!!!! So excited
Does anyone know how to get points to reply?
